Here is my response to Osinski’s essay.

In Defense of Original Sin

Keegan Osinski works at the Vanderbilt Divinity Library. Her interests include sacramental and liturgical theology and facilitating knowledge-sharing between scholars and clergy. In her essay Osinski attempts to draw out certain similarities between Liberal Theology and Pyrotheology.

In this response, I draw out what I take to be a fundamental difference between the two projects that means, while there might be certain shared characteristics, the two projects have a fundamentally different starting point and direction.
