While these short videos were made many years ago, they offer a basic introduction to the Decentering Practices that we’ll be exploring in the course.

Building on Fire | Decentering Technology

In the development of pyrotheology a number of practices have arisen. Practices designed to help people enter into the rupture and reconfiguration that lie at the heart of the pyrotheological experience.

They are called ‘Decentering Practices’ and currently divide into the following,

  1. The Last Supper

  2. The Evangelism Project

  3. Atheism for Lent

  4. The Omega Course

Over this six week course, I’ll be looking at what a Decentering Practice is, and providing all the information needed for people to set up their own. The aim of the course is to give you the required tools to create a gathering that actively incorporates the ideas of pyrotheology.

How to join

There are two ways to join this course. The first involves signing up the Blaze level on Patreon. The second involves buying a ticket, which will be on sale soon. The information for the course will be posted up on Patreon around four weeks before the course starts. If you buy a ticket, you’ll receive an email that contains a PDF with all the login details you’ll need. You’ll need to download the PDF within 24 hours. If you don’t, just drop me an email and I’ll resend the information.
