I'm very excited to let you know that this month's Pyroseminar will be a livestream of an event being held in Belfast. If you live in the city, I want to invite you to join me for the event.
The event is happening in Belfast's Black Box (Hill Street) on Sunday 3rd Sept at 6pm BST (10am PST) to mark the launch of Religion, Psychoanalysis, Marxism from Everyday Analysis. A work that offers a radical rereading of Christianity by triangulating it within a Hegelian, Marxist, Lacanian frame.
Everyday Analysis produces digital interventions that aim to tactically sabotage the prevailing ideological edifice in the name of a negative universal that undermines identitarian discourse.
This latest publication marks their first printed intervention and features articles by myself, Slavoj Žižek, Cadell Last, Julie Reshe, Matt McManus and Mark Murphy.
The event will be hosted by Alfie Bown and include a reading from Helen Rollins and a short talk by me.
